How does Wireless Charging Works

As you all know today is the era of wireless charging smartphones.

 

We used to buy wireless charging phones as we are fed up with the tangled wires. 

Now days we prefer everything wireless either it's headphones or your desktop mouse or keyboard. 

Recently famous brands such as apple, Samsung introduced the wireless charging in this era. 

However these phones are costly to get this technology on your device. 

In future we got to see wirelessly car charged

Yes you heard it right we are not far away that our car would charge wireless. 

So first let's see what is wireless charging. 

Wireless charging

In simple words, we are passing electricity in air to through one medium to another. 

Wireless charging is very old concept in 1831 when nikola Tesla concludes trasfer electricity through electromagnetic field. 

It's still works on same concept we are charging our device wirelessly using a wireless pad and our phone or device itself. 

How does wireless charging works? 

To understand the working consider two mediums both of have loop of copper coils.

One is loop is connected to adapter from which we are getting electricity (Direct current) on other side we have only coil which is connected to a bulb you can say. 

The medium which have the coil connected to a adapter generates a electromagnetic field around the coil thus when the second coil come towards the first coil the bulb lighten up. 

Here the connection is complete and electricity pass through one coil to another wirelessly. 

That's the same concept works with our wireless pad and our phones. 

Wireless pad also has coil which creates the electromagnetic field when our device is near by is start getting the current and charged wirelessly.
