Magisk is best option for rooting these days, If you are new to rooting then you should choose Magisk .
Earlier, we used SuperSU which is one of the best rooting tool, SuperSU gives you the freedom to customize your android device ,adding new features to your android device.Magisk is improvised version of Chainfire SuperSU
Magisk is an open-source rooting app. It works on any device running Android Lollipop 5.0+.

SuperSU– If device is rooted with SuperSU , SuperSU injects su binary in system partition due to which security of vendor gets impacted and user will loose the ability to get OTA updates also if device rooted in case of any software issues you will not be able to get it fixed by company vendor or company itself as SuperSU voids the warranty of device
Magisk– Magisk is another guy in market which is giving tough competition to SuperSU, Device rooted with Magisk gets the OTA updates
it is same as rooted with SuperSU both are performig the same task with different approach.

How to download Magisk Root for Android
Mehod 1 – Using Magisk Android App
- Download the Magisk Root for Android from official website.
- When you tap to install the app, you may get the notification asking you to enable the ‘Unknown Sources’. Navigate Settings > Security > Unknown Sources, and enable it.
- Grant the root permission, if you have already installed the SuperSU on your device.
- Click on the Install button to install the Magisk Manager on the device.
- Click on the Direct Install or you can click on the Download Zip File Only.
- After finishing the downloading process, the Magisk Root for Android will automatically installed on the device.
- Make sure you reboot your phone if you have clicked the Download Zip File Only.
Method 2 -Flash Zip using Custom Recovery
- Place the zip file in your internal storage. Make sure that you remember the proper location of the zip file.
- Reboot your phone into recovery ensure that you have a custom recovery such as TWRP is installed on your phone.
- Now, click on the Install button in the TWRP recovery.
- Navigate the Magisk-v20.zip on your internal storage or SD card.
- Now, install the zip file on your device and wait till it is getting installed on your device.
- After successful Installation click on Reboot
How to Uninstall Magisk and Unroot Android
- Open magisk Manager App
- Tap on unistall and wait for till uninstallation done
- reboot
