YouTube said it’s letting some people record short videos with this feature called multi-segment videos. It is rolling out the test to some users on both iOS and Android.
Youtube announced testing the feature on its support website. “We’re testing out a new way for creators to easily record multiple clips directly in the YouTube mobile app and upload as one video.
YouTube has not provided details about the addition of various AR effects and background music to the new video feature. However, it is expected that these elements will soon make their way to the YouTube app.
How to test out the multi-segment video feature?
If you are lucky enough to get access to this experimental feature, you will see a new ‘create a video’ option under the video upload section within the YouTube mobile app. It will sit next to the existing ‘Record’ and ‘Go Live’ buttons.
