Redmi 9A powered by a MediaTek Helio G25, an octa-core chip

Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9 days ago, leaving the Redmi 9A as the last device to be released in the Redmi 9-series. The completely typically releases the cheaper A phone alongside the main phone—Redmi 7 and Redmi 7A, Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A—but that wasn’t the case this time out. Thankfully, though, the Redmi 9A looks to be on the way, and a new leak has now given some information on the phone.

One of the most anticipated smartphones that have surfaced online in recent weeks is the entry-level Xiaomi Redmi 9A. It is worth noting that the company has not shared any details regarding the upcoming device in recent announcements.

Xiaomi Redmi 9A specifications leak; details

The HD+ screen of the Redmi 9A measures 6.53 inches and has a waterdrop notch at the top for the 5-megapixel selfie camera. The back holds a lone 13-megapixel shooter placed on a vertical strip that runs from the bottom to nearly the topmost part of the panel. The design, it seems, is similar to the Redmi 8A. Unless the one in the brochure is just a placeholder.

Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery, which should keep you from charging often.

Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi 9 in China with a price label of RMB 799, which is around Rs 8,500 in India. The Redmi 9A price is expected to be less than this in China and India too.
