How to unlock bootloader Samsung Galaxy A50s





Everybody knows the benefits of unlocking Bootloader. Recently we all know Samsung drops his Galaxy A50s.

Unlocking bootloader gives you ability to use custom rom , custom recovery and try many more rooted apps.

Please note: This guide will only work with Galaxy Samsung Galaxy

Other Models – A50s

if you are using this guide with any other samsung device then do it on your risk.

Enable OEM Unlock

 

  • Enable developer options on Samsung Galaxy A50s
  • Open the Settings menu on your device, Find About phone and tap on Build Number for 7 times. It will enable the Developer options.
  • Go back to main settings menu dashboared and scroll down to the bottom. Tap on the Developer Options menu.
  • You will find the OEM Unlock option > enable it.
  • A pop up will appear which asked you to “Turn on OEM unlock?”
  • Click on Enable

 

 




Steps to Unlock Bootloader Samsung Galaxy A50s

 

  • Firstly, Switch off your phone
  • Connect your device to the PC via a USB cable in order to boot into download mode.
  • Press & hold the Volume Up + Volume Down key
  • Blue screen with a warning will appear. It will ask whether to unlock the bootloader or not.
  • Press the Volume Up button again to confirm the Bootloader unlock process.
  • It will take some time and your device will boot into the system automatically.
  • The device data will be wiped out completely.
  • You’re done.

 

What if you failed to Unlock Bootloader getting an error or Bootloder option is greyed out?

 

Sorry, it means you are using snapdragon variants

This guide is only for Samsung Galaxy A50s

However, If you are using Newly purchased Samsung Galaxy A50s, I will recommended you to try this after using your device atleast for 7-10 days.
