LG has launched the new G-series smartphone LG G8s ThinQ in India. The LG G8s comes with features such as user authentication and hand ID using ThinQ infrared light. Additionally, it also supports touch motion gestures called Air Motion which support different activities on the phone such as navigating the gallery without touching the screen. The LG G8s is powered by a ThinQ Snapdragon 855 SOC processor, is a MIL-STD 810G-certified build and comes with IP68 Dust and Water Resistance ratings.
The only variant of the LG G8s ThinQ is priced at Rs 36,990 for the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. The phone will be available in India in mirror black, mirror mounds and mirror white color options. It is available for sale from retail stores across the country. The LG G8s ThinQ runs on Android Pie and is equipped with a 6.2-inch full-HD + (1080×2248 pixels) display with 19.5: 9 aspect ratio.
LG G8s ThinQ’s triple rear camera setup includes a 12-megapixel primary camera with f / 1.8 lens, a 137-degree field with a 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. Its front has an 8-megapixel sensor, which has a ToF Z (time of flight) camera for features such as hand ID for authentication, air motion and face unlock.
The LG phone is equipped with a 3550mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The dimensions of the phone are 55.3×76.6×7.99mm and it is 181 grams in weight. Connectivity options on the LG G8s ThinQ include Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C, and more.
