Taiwanese tech company Asus has launched ROG Phone 2 in India. It was introduced at an event in New Delhi. Significantly, this is an extension of the ROG (Republic of Gaming) smartphone. This smartphone is especially for gaming users who do heavy gaming. Talking about the special feature, this time the phone’s display supports the 102Hz refresh rate.
The base variant of Asus ROG Phone 2 is priced at Rs 37999. In this variant you will get 128GB of internal storage with 8GB of RAM. The sale of this phone will start in India from September 30. You can buy it from Flipkart. The company has said that 10W QC 4.0 charger and Aero case have been given in the retail package of the phone.
The second variant of this phone has been given 12GB RAM and 512GB storage and its price has been kept at Rs 59,999. With this package you will get 30W ROG charger. Apart from this, there will also be AeroActive Cooler and Case. As part of the launch offer, Flipkart will offer an instant discount of 10%, but for this you will have to purchase with ICICI Bank card.
This gaming smartphone has a 6.59-inch full HD Plus display and uses an AMOLED panel. Corning Gorilla Glass 6 is used for display protection. This smartphone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor.
For photography, this smartphone has a 48-megapixel primary rear camera. The second lens is 13 megapixels which is wide angle. This smartphone has a 24-megapixel front camera for selfie. This smartphone has a 6000mAh battery and has the support of Quick Charge 4.0. These display fingerprint scanners have been given in this smartphone and dual front facing speakers have been given for better sound quality.
