How to Stop WhatsApp from using Too much Space of your Android/iPhone

Multimedia messaging app WhatsApp today has become an integral part of our lives, but it is also a fact that WhatsApp is eating the most of our smartphone’s memory. In spite of having 64GB of storage, the storage of people’s smartphones is becoming less, The biggest reason for this is the WhatsApp auto-download, so let’s tell you how to deal with this problem.

For android phones

If you use Android phone then go to your Whatsapp settings. After that go to Data & Store and then go to Media Auto Download to adjust the settings you need. In this you have three options

1. When you are using mobile data.

2. When connected to Wi-Fi and

3. When you are roaming .. Select the option from the three options and click on the option of the document and then OK.

In this case, no file will be automatically downloaded except the document file. The advantage of this is that people send a document file very little. Follow this step. WhatsApp> Settings> Data and Storage usage

For the iPhone

Open the Whatsapp app. Now you will see the settings icon at the end to the right. Click on it to move forward. You will now see the option of Data and Storage usage. Click on it to proceed. Now you will get the option of photo, audio, video and document which you can turn on or off for you.
